SEMINAR: DIGITAL ASSISTANTS AND BOTS

This seminar is designed to provide insight and analysis on how you can determine which applications are best used for Digital Assistants and Bots communicating in part in human language on platforms ranging from apps in mobile phones to chatbots on web sites to bots in messaging applications. The seminar will discuss basic concepts needed to understand the opportunity for companies to interact with customers and employees, and the options in tools, technologies, and services to use for your particular implementation.

AI through intelligent assistants and Bots will play an integral role that all companies and app developers must address: providing a natural language interface with customers.

General personal assistants that were initially developed for mobile phones are now expanding to homes, cars, and the desktop, have driven the awareness that an individual can ask for what they want in human language. And now, leading messaging services are letting you text outside applications—“bots”—to connect with a company or service.  Companies and online services must develop specialized digital assistants and bots to be part of this trend or be at a competitive disadvantage. These digital assistants will represent companies for activities such as customer service, technical support, information access, advertising, sales, and proactive notifications. Services and enterprise software will need a digital assistant as their “face” to users.
