Director of Natural Language Strategy at Kore Inc
Bruce Wilcox has worked in Artificial Intelligence for decades, initially in the area of computer Go (where he is known as the “father of computer go”). Later he worked on autonomous aircraft design, and currently he works with natural language and conversation. He is the creator of ChatScript, an open source engine for managing conversation and performing natural language analysis tasks. It is used as a technology basis for a number of companies world-wide, including Kore. Aside from winning the Loebner’s four times, one of his chatbots for a commercial entertainment company has been downloaded more than 60 million times. Before joining Kore, he worked as a senior developer/architect for Amazon. He joined Kore, Inc., last year, as Director of Natural Language Strategy, applying natural language to controlling their bots platform.
